Acceptance of the Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the website lepainmatinal.com and the mobile application "Le Pain Matinal" (com.lepainmatinal.app). By using the services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the services.
Description of the services
We offer a set of free and premium spiritual content to help you grow in faith and in your daily life:
- sermons (audio and video) in French and English;
- Christian books (text, audio, external links);
- testimonies from members of the community;
- conferences and events, with replays where available;
- a secure way to support the mission through donations.
User account
Creating an account is optional. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and to inform us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
You can delete your account at any time from the account deletion page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the services to distribute content that is illegal, hateful, violent, deceptive or that infringes intellectual property rights;
- attempt to bypass authentication, payment controls or rate limits;
- collect or scrape data about other users;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or otherwise misuse the software;
- resell any content or feature of the services without our written consent.
Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions to the mission of the association and do not entitle you to any commercial counterparty.
Payments are handled by our payment partners (PayPal, PayUnit, Stripe). We do not store credit card details. Amounts collected are used to fund the association's activities in accordance with its statutes.
Donations are, in principle, non-refundable. In case of technical error (double charge, wrong amount), contact us within 14 days at contact@lepainmatinal.com and we will do our best to fix the situation.
Content and intellectual property
All content published on the services (texts, images, audio, video, logos, code) is the property of Réseau Ta 2nde Chance Internationale or of its partners. You may consult it and share the corresponding links for personal, non-commercial use.
Any republication, reproduction or public performance requires our prior written consent.
Premium content
Some books and sermons are marked "Premium". They may require a one-off payment (through the donations flow or another mechanism). Access is granted for personal use only and is not transferable.
Availability
We do our best to keep the services available 24/7 but we do not guarantee an uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, network outages or events beyond our control (force majeure) may cause temporary unavailability.
Third-party services
The services embed third-party features (Firebase, PayPal, Google Maps, etc.). We are not responsible for the terms and privacy practices of these third parties. Please refer to their own policies.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or delete an account that breaches these Terms, that receives fraudulent payments or that endangers other users.
You can also terminate your relationship with us at any time by deleting your account.
Warranty disclaimer
The services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct damages proven and, in any case, capped at the amount you paid to us over the 12 months preceding the event that gave rise to the liability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data or spiritual expectations.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably will be brought before the competent courts of Douala, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply where you live.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version takes effect once published on this page. If a change is material we will let you know through the services.
