Delete your account
Deleting your account with Le Pain Matinal is free, permanent, and applies to both the website and the mobile app. This page explains what happens, how to trigger the deletion, and what data is kept for legal reasons.
This procedure meets the account deletion requirement of the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
What gets deleted
When we process your deletion request, we permanently remove or anonymize:
- Your profile information: name, username, email, hashed password, avatar.
- Your active sessions and refresh tokens.
- Your push notification tokens, so you stop receiving notifications immediately.
- Your contact messages and newsletter subscription.
Content you may have shared publicly (testimonies for example) is removed from public listings; anonymized copies may remain in offline backups for up to 90 days before being purged.

Data we may keep
For legal reasons, we may keep some records after deletion:
- Donation history: kept for 10 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations. Personal identifiers are removed after 3 years where possible.
- Anonymized security logs: kept up to 12 months.
- Records of the deletion itself: kept to prove the request was honored.
Reactivation
Once your account is deleted it cannot be recovered. You can of course create a new account at any time, but past history, favorites and preferences are not restored.
